We are so lucky to feature Nina Nguyen, a local Colorado designer that grew up in Central Vietnam surrounded by a family of jewelers and goldsmiths. Her mother's trading post was where locals came to sell their gold, panned from the Buon Ma Thuot River, which was then refined and used to create gorgeous pieces by Nina's uncle. She didn't have an easy journey but one that led her to design jewelry of her own using many of the same techniques and materials as her uncle. Her line consists of mixed metals, saturated colors and organic and natural colors. She has managed to capture the latest trends and blend them with her signature style.
"Sometimes women want to mix things up a bit. Literally."
The Nina Nguyen Designs line is created to be stacked and layered in a mix-and-match style. Elements can be moved or converted from pendants to earrings to be used as a charm. The affordability, as well as the way the pieces work together, makes it easy to collect multiple pieces. Nina Nguyen
