Five time Olympic champion Missy Franklin Johnson and USA swimmer Hayes Johnson on (re)connecting and their love story that lead them to their custom rings from Trice.
They actually met when Missy was 15 and Hayes was 20 at an event called Golden Goggles, which is kind of like the Oscars for swimming. Missy challenged him to a dance off. They remained friends seeing each other at national swimming events and Olympic time trials. Fast forward - and here is the story of when they reconnected.
They actually both have small sapphires inside of their rings to symbolize the water that has connected them.
